I've found myself in the last day or two dealing with pride. I've caught myself twice doing or saying something, then realizing that underneath it, I was motivated by sin. All I really wanted to do was to impress people, or make them think I'm awesome because of this or that. I've repented. But I saw the result, in some ways I got what I wanted. Someone told me what I wanted to hear, but instead of it feeding my ego, I had a deep sorrow in my heart, for I was sinfully motivated. God forgive me.
